Chevalier Learning Commons (LG1)
The Learning Commons (LC) is your learning ground. It opens 24 hours a day during the Fall and Spring terms. At the LC Help Desk, you can find help and borrow items to help you use the facilities. There are 4 zones:
Information Commons (G/F)
At the Information Commons (IC), you can find work spaces for individuals and groups. You can use computers, 3D printers, printers and scanners for coursework and extracurricular activities. Librarians, library staff and student helpers on duty will help you find information and use the IC facilities.
Rooms for group use
46 Group Study Rooms (all floors) each has a whiteboard and LCD monitor with VGA/ HDMI cable for laptop connection.
3 Media & Discussion Rooms (LG1) each has DVD/ videocassette players and LCD television with VGA/ HDMI cable for laptop connection.
1 Interview Room for online interviews/ video conferencing by individuals or small groups.
Study area (All floors)
Study carrels for individual use and reading tables are available on every floor of the Library.
Wireless Internet connection
Wireless connection to the campus network is available to all users who have a mobile device equipped for wireless connection and an Information Technology Services Center (ITSC) network account.
Photocopiers & Printers (All floors)
Copiers & printers accept Octopus cards for payment. Color and A3 copying/printing are also supported.

At Learning Commons Help Desk (LG1) and Information Commons Help Desk (G/F), users can borrow a variety of itmes such as Charging Cable (3-in-1), VR Goggles, USB Drive, etc. Learn more about the types of items.
