Workshops: Building a Resilient Habit (BRH)

Mindfulness is moment-to-moment, non-judgmental awareness, developed through the practice of meditation. Mindfulness can help improve attention, boost the immune system, cultivate well-being and happiness, reduce stress and enhance creativity. Let’s acquaint ourselves with the basics of mindfulness and develop a personal meditation practice to face every day challenges. (Useful apps for mindfulness: Oxford MBCT)

(Upon successful completion of the workshop, HLTH1010 Course participants will attain 1 course hour in the "Wellness and Personal Enrichment" of the "Activities" module. Advanced registration is required.)

  • In-session practice of mindfulness meditation.
