School Welcome and Induction
The Program Induction, GCS Orientation Day and School Welcoming Party will be held on 22 August 2011 (Monday), 29 August 2011 (Monday) and 2 September 2011 (Friday) respectively. These sessions offer useful information and guidance about your program of study and help you plan your progress towards graduation. Faculty members and senior students will be there to answer any questions you may have about your academic study.
The School has also arranged for you to attend the Healthy Lifestyle Course (HLTH1010) Introduction Session and the New Student Convocation on 31 August 2011 (Wednesday).
All Global China Studies (GCS) students are expected to attend these activities (Program Induction, GCS Orientaion Day and School Welcoming Party) and confirm attendance.

Orientation Program offered by the University
The University offers a comprehensive orientation program for local and non-local students which includes compulsory events under the Healthy Lifestyle Course (HLTH1010). You may use the Important Dates & Events Checklist (local/non-local) to track progress of essential events and procedures you need to complete in August and September.
