The University's email service is called HKUST iMail Service. Before you can start using this service, you must activate your ITSC network account.

Email addresses are in the following format
Undergraduate <ITSC Network Account>
Staff / Postgraduate <ITSC Network Account>

You can access your email from any computer with an Internet connection by simply typing in Please follow our Email Usage Guide when using the email services.

Spam Detection identifies suspected spam messages and delivers them to a special email folder called AutoTrash. Messages delivered to your AutoTrash folder will be erased by the system automatically after 30 days by default, unless you save them to another folder. Learn more

Other Ways to Access your Email
You can access your email through Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express or other "email clients", either on campus or by using a Hall connection (ResNet), or a broadband provided by an Internet service provider (ISP) such as Netvigator and iCable. HKUST Lifelong Email Forwarding Address
HKUST Lifelong Email Forwarding Address is a service provided for students who wish to own a lifelong email address, even after the completion of their courses in HKUST, for presenting to outside correspondents. Learn more
