Embracing a global outlook and international ambiance, HKUST welcomes foreign students from any corner of the globe to study in Hong Kong. Students from geographical origins other than Hong Kong and holding international or non-DSE qualifications are usually termed as international, non-local, Mainland China, Mainland JEE, non-JUPAS and/or non-local degree seeking students.

Welcome all international and mainland JEE students. Hope you have a smooth transition and feel at home at HKUST and Hong Kong. The checklist should help you identify useful and important activities to kick start your university study and life here.
