Students admitted from the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) are usually termed as JUPAS or local students.

Registration and Identification
Aug 7-8 Complete Program Registration (JUPAS - Main Round Offer)
Aug 8 onwards
- Activate your HKUST network/ ITSC account at myaccount.ust.hk
- Access and check your HKUST email (@connect.ust.hk) at http://O365.ust.hk or myPortal (important information and notifications from different units will be sent to this email account)
Aug 9-10, 14-15, 21-22 Collect Student Card in person at CMA Lecture Theater (LT-L), Cheng Yu Tung Building
Enrollment: Housing, Induction and Enrichment Activities

Apply Student Accommodation & Join First-Year Experience (FYE) @Residence Program

Academic Advising and Peer Mentoring#
Aug 9-30 Attend Academic Advising and Peer Mentoring sessions (these sessions are very useful and critical for your class pre-enrolment; refer also to respective Schools' orientation information, SBM, SSCI, SENG, SHSS, IPO & individual email notifications for details; absence from these sessions may affect your study progress)

Class Enrollment
Aug 14-20 Subsequent to academic advising sessions and/or Schools' instruction, ARR would arranage class pre-enrollment for students to required courses. (Students must attend the academic advising and peer mentoring sessions of respective Schools, SBM, SSCI, SENG, SHSS, IPO in Jul, Aug9-10 and other dates.)
Aug 22 onwards Check Class pre-enrollment results via "Student Centre" in myPortal
Aug 25 Enroll first term classes via myPortal
