Students admitted from the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) through the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) are usually termed as JUPAS students

Action item checklist for JUPAS students

The checklist should help identify useful and important activities to kick start your university study and life here.

Registration and Collection of Student ID  

Aug 6-7  Complete Program Registration (JUPAS - Main Round Offer)

Aug 7 onwards

Aug 8-9  Collect Student Card in person at CMA Lecture Theater (LT-L), Cheng Yu Tung Building

If you are not able to collect your student card as scheduled you may join the make-up session on Aug 21 in the same venue.

Enrollment: Housing, Induction and Enrichment Activities

Aug 7 onwards

Enroll English Language Proficiency Assessment - (ELPA) (required)

Aug 7 - 9

Apply Student Accommodation & Join First-Year Experience (FYE) @Residence Program

Apply University-wide Orientation - Application for Reservation of Bed Space 

Aug 8 onwards

Enroll Getting Started & Introduction to Healthy Lifestyle Course (HLTH1010) (required)

Enroll Enrichment Talks, Tours and Workshops

Academic Advising and Peer Mentoring#

Aug 8-30  Attend Academic Advising and Peer Mentoring sessions (these sessions are very useful and critical for your class pre-enrolment; refer also to respective Schools' orientation information, SBM, SSCI, SENG, SHSS, IPO & individual email notifications for details; absence from these sessions may affect your study progress)

Aug 21 onwards  Check class pre-enrollment results via "Student Centre" in myPortal

HLTH1010 Required Activities

Aug 23-31  *Attend Fitness Training (FULL)

All the Fitness Training Classes from 23 Aug to 31 Aug are FULL. Registration details of Fitness Training Classes in September will be announced shortly.

Sep 7-9  *Attend Health and Fitness Assessments

Sep 13-16  *Attend a Sports Skill Class 

Sep 6-Oct 7  Complete the online Student Intake Survey and Wellness Assessments
